This Privacy Policy explains how GMAV Global (“GMAV Global”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal data when you visit www.gmavglobal.com (the “Site”), submit an enquiry, or otherwise interact with us. It also describes your rights and how to exercise them. We are committed to processing personal data lawfully, fairly, and transparently in line with applicable data protection laws, including the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Who we are

GMAV Global is the data controller and data fiduciary responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at:

GMAV Global
SCO 179-180, Second Floor, Madhya Marg, Sector 8C, Chandigarh, India, 160009
Email: info@gmavglobal.com

2. The personal data we collect

  • Information you provide: when you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), the message you send, and any other details you choose to share.
  • Information collected automatically: when you browse the Site we may collect your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, referring pages, pages viewed, and interactions, through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5). Analytics data of this kind is collected only where you have consented.
  • Security data: limited technical data processed to protect the Site, verify that form submissions are human, and prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or financial account data) through the Site, and we ask that you not submit such information through the contact form.

3. How and why we use your data

We use personal data for the following purposes, relying on the legal bases indicated:

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide the information or services you request, based on performance of a contract or steps prior to a contract, our legitimate interests, and, where applicable, your consent.
  • To operate, maintain, and secure the Site and prevent abuse, based on our legitimate interests in running a safe, reliable service.
  • To measure and improve the Site through analytics, based on your consent.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, based on compliance with law and our legitimate interests.

Under the DPDP Act, we process personal data on the basis of your consent or for legitimate uses permitted by that Act. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. About GMAV Global and our verticals

GMAV Global is a diversified group operating across M&A advisory, capital raising, financial services, and technology. Our verticals (including GMAV M&A Partners, GMAV Capital, GMAV Finserve, and GMAV Technologies) may operate their own websites and services under separate privacy notices. This policy covers only personal data processed through www.gmavglobal.com and enquiries sent to us via this Site.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

Strictly necessary

Cloudflare Turnstile is used on our contact form to confirm that a request comes from a human and to block automated abuse. Cookies in this category are essential for the Site and form to function and do not require consent.

Analytics (consent-based)

Google Analytics (deployed via Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity help us understand how the Site is used so we can improve it. Microsoft Clarity may record how visitors interact with pages (for example, clicks and scrolling). We implement Google Consent Mode: analytics storage is denied by default, and Google Analytics operates in a cookieless mode until you accept. Microsoft Clarity is loaded only after you accept.

Managing your choices. When you first visit the Site, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. You can change your decision at any time by clearing this Site’s data in your browser, which will prompt the banner again, or by adjusting your browser’s cookie settings.

6. How we share your data

We share personal data only as necessary and with appropriate safeguards, including with:

  • Service providers (processors): Cloudflare (security, bot protection, and content delivery), Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Workspace for receiving and replying to enquiries), Microsoft (Clarity analytics), and our hosting provider. These providers process personal data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: where required to comply with law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

7. International transfers

Because our service providers operate globally, your personal data may be processed in countries other than your own, including India, the United States, and the European Union. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or the UK to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You may contact us for more information about these safeguards.

8. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to and manage your enquiry, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Enquiry correspondence is generally retained for a reasonable period consistent with those purposes and then deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is retained according to the retention periods of the relevant analytics providers.

9. How we protect your data

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), strict transport security and content security policies, bot protection on forms, restricted access to data, and reputable third-party infrastructure. While we work hard to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

If you are in India (DPDP Act), you have the right to access a summary of your personal data and the processing activities, to seek correction, completion, updating, and erasure of your personal data, to grievance redressal, and to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@gmavglobal.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. Grievance redressal

If you have any questions, concerns, or complaints about how we handle your personal data, please contact our Grievance Officer, who is responsible for addressing data protection queries under the DPDP Act:

Grievance Officer, GMAV Global
SCO 179-180, Second Floor, Madhya Marg, Sector 8C, Chandigarh, India, 160009
Email: info@gmavglobal.com

We will acknowledge and endeavour to resolve grievances within the timelines prescribed by applicable law.

12. Children

The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13. Third-party links

The Site may link to external websites operated by our verticals or third parties (for example, gmav.io, kdafinserve.com, and gmavtech.com). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to review their privacy notices.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Where required, we will seek your consent again.
